Vicinto aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA on the web app. We test with keyboard navigation, VoiceOver and automated checks before each release.
What is built in
- A skip link to the main content on every page, visible on focus.
- Every control reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Text at or above 4.5:1 contrast on all backgrounds, including the colored sport chips.
- Form fields with labels, error messages announced to screen readers, and a show-password toggle.
- Reduced-motion support: pin drops and mascot motion are skipped when your system asks for less motion.
- Browser zoom is never disabled.
Known limitations
- The map itself is visual. Every court on it is also reachable through search by name, and every listing has its own page with the same details as text.
- Sport colors on pins are paired with the court count and the listing name, so color is never the only signal, but the split pin for a multi-sport listing is easier to read on the listing page.
